Responsibilities
- Operate the beverage cart efficiently along designated course routes, ensuring timely delivery of drinks and snacks to golfers.
- Manage food and beverage inventory, restocking supplies as needed to maintain availability throughout your shift.
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems and process cash transactions with precision.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, upselling beverages or snacks, and addressing guest inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace on the cart, including proper food handling and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely if preparing simple food items or beverages on-site; ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently.
- Uphold sanitation standards by regularly cleaning the cart, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to navigate course routes swiftly while maintaining excellent service quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and managing inventory counts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell products effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently if required; previous culinary or café experience is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk long distances outdoors in various weather conditions, and lift moderate loads as needed.
