Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, motivating, and effective functional fitness classes for diverse groups of participants. In this role, you will inspire members to achieve their health and wellness goals through expertly designed workouts that combine fun with fitness. Responsibilities
- Lead dynamic group functional fitness classes, each with different focuses such as cardio, strength, upper body focus, lower body focus, etc...
- Design and modify class routines to accommodate different skill levels and ensure participant safety.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and physiology principles to maximize effectiveness and prevent injury.
- Motivate participants by providing encouragement, feedback, and personalized modifications as needed.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring class flow, equipment use, and participant well-being throughout sessions.
- Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices in group fitness, sports coaching, and personal training.
Skills
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction or personal training.
- Deep knowledge of functional fitness, physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design tailored to diverse populations.
- Ability to motivate others through energetic delivery and positive reinforcement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt instructions for different skill levels.
