Wedding Coordinator Assistant (Part-Time)

About the Role
Olive & Pearl Events is looking for a dependable, energetic Wedding Coordinator Assistant to help execute beautiful, seamless wedding days. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the wedding industry who enjoys working behind the scenes, solving problems, and creating memorable experiences for couples.
No wedding experience is required - we provide training. We're looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with wedding day setup and decor placement
- Help execute the event timeline alongside the lead coordinator
- Communicate with vendors and venue staff as needed
- Greet and assist guests, wedding party, and family members
- Keep ceremony and reception spaces organized throughout the event
- Run errands and handle last-minute requests
- Assist with decor breakdown and packing at the end of the event
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Available to work weekends
- Reliable transportation to venues throughout the DFW area
- Able to stand and walk for 10–12+ hours
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Previous event, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
