Position: Part-Time Retail Sales Associate
Location: Hulakai – Waikoloa Beach Resort
Hours: 15–25 hours per week
Pay: $16.50–$22/hour (based on experience)
Hulakai is a locally owned surf and lifestyle retail shop rooted in community and island living. We are committed to providing genuine customer service and quality beach apparel and rentals to our guests.
We are seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Waikoloa team.
This position is well suited for someone returning to the workforce, a responsible college student, or an individual seeking steady part-time employment in a positive, active environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, friendly customer service
- Assist customers with apparel, rentals, and beach gear selection
- Operate POS system accurately
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Replenish merchandise and assist with inventory
- Represent the Hulakai brand with professionalism and aloha
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable handling transactions and cash
- Available for a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
- Retail experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- 15–25 hours per week
- Combination of school-hour shifts and some evenings/weekends
- Consistent availability preferred
