Job Overview:
To provide transportation for residents of Ridgecrest Village and Crest Health Center to and from various appointments and activities in a safe and courteous manner. This transportation will be provided using a variety of vehicles.
General Responsibilities:
- Transports residents to and from appointments and activities as needed.

Demonstrates competency in skills mandated by required education and training.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent.

CDL license required, which includes passenger endorsed.

Functional literacy in English.
Skills/Aptitude:
- Able to meet the public with confidence.
- Must possess the mental and physical capabilities to fulfill the duties of this position.

Must possess patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a cheerful disposition.

Must possess the knowledge, skill, and empathy necessary to work with geriatric residents.

Must be able to continuously articulate clearly and precisely and communicate with persons of varying backgrounds.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift wheelchair approximately 3 feet to place in trunk of car.

Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Strength to transfer supplies weighing a maximum of 20 pounds from floor to 40-inch countertop.
Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):
- Exposure to seasonal conditions due to outside doors (temperature range from 60 to 80 degrees).

Seasonal exposure to dust, pollen, etc. from doors.
