Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain engines, including diesel engine repairs, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose electrical system faults.
- Conduct alignment procedures, wheel balancing, and suspension repairs to uphold vehicle safety standards.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools efficiently for mechanical repairs, including engine overhauls and component replacements.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid replacements with precision.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts during repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on complex repairs involving automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and bodywork when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a focus on automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair.
- Strong knowledge of automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and vehicle operation standards.
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and ability to calibrate or troubleshoot these systems.
- Ability to interpret automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience working with heavy-duty vehicles or GM vehicles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in various environmental conditions safely.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
