Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items are hygienic and meet health standards.
- Support food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed, including assisting with food service and catering setups.
- Assist with cleaning duties throughout the restaurant or kitchen area to maintain a tidy workspace.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and correctly.
- Adhere to all food safety management practices to uphold sanitation standards and prevent contamination.
Skills
- Previous experience in dishwashing, food service, or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and cleaning techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting.
- Basic understanding of food handling, preparation, and kitchen operations.
