We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Inventory & Warehouse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing electrical parts inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating incoming and outgoing materials, and supporting warehouse operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy will help ensure our field crews have the materials they need to operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming shipments.
- Track and issue materials to field crews and shop personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to maintain proper stock levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend reorders when necessary.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or materials management.
- Experience managing electrical parts inventory is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
- Experience with inventory management systems and barcode scanners.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel and inventory software).
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred (not required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties.
