We are a private Family Medicine practice with two locations (Boulder and Broomfield) looking to hire a part-time Medical Assistant for our Broomfield clinic. Coverage would be for Wednesdays and Fridays at our Broomfield location.
Our days are generally light but steady, with each provider seeing 10-12 patients a day on average. We do not accept Medicare, but accept most major commercial insurance.
Duties include rooming patients and obtaining vitals, drawing blood and giving injections, sending referrals, and completing prior authorizations. Our Medical Assistants are also cross-trained to answer phones when we are busier and to be able to do basic patient check-in at the front desk. You must be professional, polite, and a team player. We use an electronic medical records system, so data entry skills are a must.
Phlebotomy experience is required. You must have documentation that you have completed formal training as a Medical Assistant (such as a letter from your school, diploma, or certification).
