Part-Time Mobile Pet Groomer (Scottsdale / Arcadia / East Valley)
Position: Part-Time (2–3 days/week) with definite Full-Time potential as we grow!
Location: We service Scottsdale, Arcadia, and East Valley. Our vans are located in east Mesa. Please only apply if you have reliable transportation - the bus system does not come out this far.
Pay Structure: $20/hour minimum OR 35% commission (starting structure) — whichever is higher that week. You always keep 100% of your tips!
About Us
We are a thriving, high-end mobile grooming business celebrating 3 successful years of serving an amazing, loyal clientele. Right now, I’m looking for a skilled groomer to split the week with me while we wait for our brand-new van to build out. You'll be partnering with a fun, caring groomer of 10 years that won't ever book same day appointments without asking, won't book breeds of dogs you can't stand, and respects your limits and your off-time.
I've been burnt out before and almost quit grooming forever before I built a mobile business I love, and I'm looking for another hardworking groomer who wants to love their job again!
What We Offer (The Good Stuff)
* Flexible Schedule - we'll find 2 sequential days of the week that fit your schedule.
* Top-Tier Equipment: Our vans are exceptionally well-maintained, clean, and nice to work in—no broken-down, back breaking, miserable setups here. The current van is a Mercedes Sprinter with a super reliable quiet diesel generator. Furrion AC keeps it in the 60s when it's under 100 degrees and in the 70s when it's over 100. The next van is currently being built and full time will become available at that time!
* Groom Your Way: You never have to groom dogs you genuinely dislike or feel unsafe with. We do not groom aggressive or very reactive pets.
* Growth: Opportunity to move into a full-time position as soon as our new van hits the road. Totally optional though.
* Legit Payroll: Fully W-2 compliant through Gusto (direct deposit, workers' comp, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: At least 2 years of professional pet grooming experience. You've got to be able to groom the munchkins without help. Cats optional but a bonus! Must have experience in grooming cats to groom cats.
* Reliability: A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
* Big Vehicle Confidence: must have confidence and road skills to drive around the valley, including the highways, in a large high roof van. Big vehicle, rv, trailer towing experience a plus!
* Skill: punctuality, professionalism, a gentle touch, and excellent communication with high-end clients.
We value comfort over vanity with our services and will not support brushing of severely matted dogs. We will always stand by you on that. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely loves dogs, and wants to grow with a supportive, independent small business.
Mobile grooming experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate!
Pay: $160.00 - $450.00 per day
