Citrus Cardiology Consultants is looking for a Denials Specialist who is an organized, efficient and knowledgeable about handling medical denials. You will be responsible for investigating, resolving, and appealing denied medical insurance claims to maximize revenue and minimize outstanding accounts receivable
Process denials and challenge insurance companies.
Audit patient charts for proper documentation.
Read and interpret EOB’s.
Ensure that all denials are submitted with accurate information.
Ensure that denials are worked daily basis.
Process electronic and paper posting.
Communicate with and prepare reports for Administration.
High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of medical denial experience required.
Experienced with insurance portals required.
Proficient with Excel.
