Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, skid steers, excavators and dump trucks and move materials efficiently and safely.
- Able to safely use various hand tools such as circular saws, drills, chainsaws, etc.
- Ability to read architectural plans and interact with engineers and on-site inspectors.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge requirements to prevent injuries.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team of other employees
- Maintain detailed records of project tasks, safety checks, and equipment maintenance logs.
Skills
- Extensive experience in masonry and heavy construction is required
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators and dump trucks, and other mechanical tools.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues related to all machinery used in construction process.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during high-volume order picking and load/unload tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 per hour
