Responsibilities
- Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols to support clients’ developmental goals
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, to promote independence
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with their care plans and goals
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding progress and behavior management strategies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records and client information
- Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, ethical standards, and medical terminology to enhance service quality
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols
- Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, and client communication
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health in various settings, including home-based environments or schools
- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Demonstrated professionalism with a commitment to ethical practices outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills for managing care plans, behavioral data, and progress reports
- Compassionate attitude combined with energetic engagement to motivate clients toward positive outcomes
