Marshall Music in Kalamazoo is looking for a Retail Sales Clerk to help with the busy fall season with a possibility for continuing employment beyond the fall. You will work with walk-in customers and customers over the phone to help them select the best products and accessories for their needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers and offering assistance
- Advise customers in selecting their purchases by providing information on instruments and their related accessories
- Advise customers on the best way to care for and maintain their instruments
- Assist customers in filling out the Marshall Music rental contract
- Answer telephones and assist customers over the phone
- Assist with inventory and setting up displays
- Help maintain store cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must have superior customer service
- Familiarity with a variety of band or orchestra instruments required
- Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
