Braeckel Building Company specializes in custom homes, residential construction, renovations, and commercial carpentry throughout southwest Missouri.

The right person doesn't wait to be told what to do. They see problems before they happen, keep projects moving, and hold themselves and their crew to a high standard.
You should be someone your crew respects—not because you yell the loudest, but because you lead by example.
We're looking for someone who is flexible and understands that while most of our work is local, some projects require occasional overnight travel. We provide lodging, and our crews return home on weekends whenever projects require extended travel.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily jobsite operations.
- Keep projects on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and inspections.
- Train and mentor carpenters and laborers.
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, inspectors, and suppliers.
- Identify issues early and develop practical solutions.
- Maintain clean, organized, professional jobsites.
- Hold yourself and your crew accountable to company standards.
- Travel to project sites throughout the region as needed, including occasional overnight stays for out-of-town projects.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction experience.
- Proven experience leading crews.
- Strong knowledge of framing, carpentry, and residential construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple phases of construction.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors year-round.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for projects, including overnight stays when required.
