2nd Grade Teacher
2026-2027 School Year, starts August 5, 2026
SOAR’s collective responsibility is to offer a holistic approach to education that implements rigorous academic instruction in conjunction with an active classroom. Our model challenges students to think critically and take active roles in their classrooms and communities. Our school gives students the academic and character-building skills they need as learners and leaders.
SOAR Vision: SOAR students create full and meaningful lives, enrich our democracy, and create a more just society.
Second grade is a powerful year—students move from foundational skills to fluency, stamina, and deeper thinking. We are seeking a dedicated, intellectually curious, and student-centered 2nd Grade Teacher to join our diverse learning community. This role is ideal for an educator who believes academic rigor, inclusion, and joy belong together and who is excited to stretch students as readers, writers, mathematicians, and problem-solvers.
