Westside Elementary School is looking for a reliable and energetic Group Leader for their Brevard After School program.
BEGINNING SALARY
Based on classification and pay plan for Classified employees:
Grade 16 $15.95 per hour
1:30 PM -6:00 PM
GROUP LEADER I - BREVARD AFTER SCHOOL:EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:REQUIRED:
Must be eighteen years of age at time of employment.
Experience working with children.
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:REQUIRED:
Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hours
online as Inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool
Programs-12 hours or complete within 90 days of appointment.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification or obtain
certification within 90 days of appointment.
BAS Academy: Level I (24 hours online) for the School Age Certification obtain training by starting
within 90 days of appointment with completion within one year of appointment.
Valid State Drivers License.
GROUP LEADER II - BREVARD AFTER SCHOOL:EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years experience working with children.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:REQUIRED:
Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hours
online as Inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool
Programs-12 hours.
BAS Academy: Level I and II (48 hours online) of the School Age Certification.
