Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The LVN will be responsible for assisting with patient check-ins and check-outs, managing patient documents, coordinating prior authorizations, and supporting the clinical team as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with EMR/EHR systems and be prepared to perform first aid when necessary. Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties such as checking patients in and out, gathering necessary patient documents prior to visits, and assisting with sending orders.
- Manage patient records efficiently within EMR/EHR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate prior authorizations for treatments or procedures, working closely with insurance providers and healthcare teams.
- Assist with clinical tasks including administering first aid when required.
- Support the healthcare team by preparing patient charts, verifying insurance information, and scheduling appointments.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries professionally and courteously.
Qualifications
- Valid LVN license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
