Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Support students with special education needs, including those with autism
- Help children with math concepts and reinforce learning through various activities
- Manage student behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behavior
Experience
- Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting is preferred
- Familiarity with curriculum development for young children
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is a plus
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is beneficial
