Required qualifications: Director of Nursing CVICU
- The nurse director is a professional registered nurse with twenty-four hour responsibility for assigned departments within established standards to achieve the mission and vision of the organization. The nursing director is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the unit/departments and executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. The nurse director provides leadership and mentorship in the development of leaders and staff. The nurse director is responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality, patient satisfaction and employee satisfaction outcomes to implement strategies for improvement.
Qualifications: Director of Nursing CVICU
- Bachelor's in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required. Effective 9/1/19, if the applicant does not have a BSN, they must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled date of completion.
- Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of five (or 3-5) years’ CVICU experience, of which 3 (or 2) years must have been in a management capacity
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Preferred Job Requirements: Master’s degree in nursing and/or related field. Certification in a clinical specialty or nursing administration.
Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
