The Arc Columbia-Saratoga is currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Day Services Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our WOW Program!
In this role, you'll support a wonderful group of kind and caring adults with developmental disabilities. A key part of this role is helping those we support engage with their community - taking them on outings and activities using an agency vehicle and making each day meaningful and enjoyable.
What You'll Do:
- Accompany and support people on community outings
- Help promote independence, socialization and personal growth
- Ensure a safe, positive and engaging environment
- Build strong, supportive relationships
What We're Looking For:
- A caring and dependable person who enjoys helping others
- Valid driver's license with ability to drive agency vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work full-time hours:
- 35-hours a week
- Monday-Friday
- Starting rate of pay is set at $19 an hour
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
No Experience? No Problem!
