Now hiring two full-time, year-round teachers: Toddlers assistant and Preschool Lead. You MUST be able to document 2500 hours working with children other than your own. We are a 4-STAR, NAEYC-Accredited center that provides care for children 6 weeks old through fifth grade.
Duties:
- Create a secure and supportive atmosphere for the children under your supervision.
- Work with a team to plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive, and social development
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, meals, naptime, and outdoor activities
- Ensure the well-being of each child by monitoring their health, safety, and emotional needs
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Keep the childcare area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Experience:
- Two years/2500 hours experience or an AA in ECE or related field required.
- Knowledge of DHS, STARS, NAEYC, and Federal Food guidelines appreciated.
- Additionally, the ability to engage children in physical education activities is necessary.
- Strong communication skills are also required to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members.
- It is essential to have patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
