Responsibilities
- Perform precise installation, calibration, and maintenance of complex biomedical and electronic equipment at client sites, ensuring adherence to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and ISO standards.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on electro-mechanical components, utilizing schematics and electrical schematic reading skills to identify issues accurately.
- Use hand tools and specialized test equipment to repair, calibrate, and optimize equipment performance in compliance with biomedical regulatory standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting guides to resolve issues efficiently.
- Execute preventive maintenance routines and perform repairs on medical devices (DME - Durable Medical Equipment) while maintaining detailed records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Collaborate closely with clients to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and technical expertise.
- Follow strict safety protocols aligned with ISO standards and biomedical regulations to protect both the technician and the client’s environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service roles involving biomedical or electronic equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge paired with electrical diagnostics skills.
- Familiarity with OEM equipment specifications, schematics reading, calibration procedures, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
- Experience working within ISO standards and biomedical regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly to clients and team members.
