Position Overview
Behavior Technicians provide direct ABA therapy and support individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities across clinic, community, and structured learning environments. Team members work closely with BCBAs to implement individualized programming and support skill development.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or small group ABA therapy for teens and adults
- Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress
- Communicate client successes and concerns to supervising BCBA
- Assist with skill-building programs and behavior support plans
- Participate in community outings and functional skill instruction
- Collaborate with team members and attend team meetings
- Assist with materials and program preparation as needed
Qualifications
- RBT certification preferred OR willingness to obtain within 60–90 days (training provided)
- Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and professional
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying support needs
Requirements
- Must pass background check
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Schedule Options
- Full-time (30+ hours/week)
- Part-time (evenings and/or daytime availability)
