Duties
- Diagnose and repair various vacuum systems, including commercial and residential units, utilizing schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform appliance installation and assembly of new vacuum equipment at customer sites or in-store.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving refrigeration, electrical components, plumbing, and mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and electrical experience.
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on vacuum units to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with customers to provide expert advice on product features, maintenance tips, and repair options while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Operate company vehicles such as box trucks for delivery and service calls while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use field service skills to manage on-site repairs efficiently, including troubleshooting equipment failures using schematics and electrical work knowledge.
Qualifications
- Skilled in reading schematics and ladder diagrams for troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques necessary for repairs and installations.
- Ability to perform equipment troubleshooting efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; capable of explaining technical issues clearly to clients.
