Compensation
$90,000 – $140,000 per year + Performance Bonus Compensation commensurate with experience, track record, and estimating volume.

Rule4 is a growing commercial specialty contractor seeking a motivated, results-driven estimator to join our team. We specialize in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and painting projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and painting projects
- Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Bluebeam, or similar software
- Solicit and evaluate proposals from suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify project risks, scope gaps, and value-engineering opportunities
- Prepare bid proposals and scope letters
- Build relationships with general contractors, developers, and project teams
- Participate in project turnover meetings with operations personnel
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial drywall and/or painting estimating experience
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, or similar estimating software
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to succeed and grow
