The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients, staff and the community to prevent and treat disability following disease, injury or other cause. The therapist evaluates, plans, provides treatment and collaborates with others to optimize functional recovery and minimize disability.

Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program

Clinical experience in a hospital setting

- Monitoring/assessing performance of individuals to make improvements or take corrective action
- Thinking critically by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
