Walsh Door + Security is seeking a full-time Warehouse Team Member at our Des Moines location. We specialize in
commercial doors, frames, hardware, cameras, and access control systems for projects throughout Iowa and the

Job Description:
• Load and unload commercial doors, frames, and hardware for deliveries by hand, pallet jack, and/or forklift.
- Pull, label, and ship hardware orders for customers. This position requires manual labor for a substantial
portion of the time.
- Prepare outbound paperwork.
- Receive material accurately against picking slips.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of commercial door hardware and applications.
- Secure loads with applicable strapping and packaging materials.
- Check loads and deliveries for accuracy against shipping tickets.
- Clean and organize warehouse.
- Receive material and put material in proper location.
- Occasional travel to out-of-state job sites is required to check and organize materials; candidates must be
able to travel by airplane.
- 40 hours per week, typically between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
Hours WILL VARY depending on workload.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
- Prefer candidate with commercial hardware experience.
- Must have clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
- Must pass pre-employment physical fit test, drug screen, and background check.
- Must drive in a safe and efficient manner to limit risk exposures.
- Must be able to safely lift medium to heavy materials up to 100 pounds. Frequent to constant standing,
lifting, handling, stooping, walking, carrying, kneeling, seeing, punching, bending and reaching.
- Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
