POSITION OVERVIEW:
Axiom Design Build is looking for an experienced Framer/Carpenter,a skilled and driven professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in production framing. Strong knowledge of construction safety, methods, and best practices is essential. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, hard worker, and dedicated craftsperson who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent; with oversight from Director of Production as appropriate
EXPECTED SKILLS:
- In-depth knowledge of framing and carpentry with 3–5 years of hands-on experience
- High level of expertise in framing, with both speed and quality
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
- Ability to work efficiently and safely
- Consistent punctuality and readiness for work
- Remodel framing and general carpentry experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship in all carpentry work
- Perform work in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards
- Coordinate daily tasks to stay on schedule and meet client expectations
- Collaborate with teams of carpenters and other laborers
- Maintain productivity and meet daily production goals
- Perform material take-offs and framing layouts
- Implement best practices and industry-standard construction methods
- Communicate consistently and professionally with team and leadership
- Provide positive mentorship and direction to laborers and peers
- Help empower the team to exceed expectations for quality and craftsmanship
- Be an outstanding example of company culture within the surrounding community through both attitude and job performance
- Represent Axiom in a professional manner, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pass a background check
- 3+ years of framing experience
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
COMPENSATION:
Full-time, hourly position. Hourly rate: $30–$40 DOE
