About the role SportsID is building its brand from the ground up ahead of launch. The Social Media Manager owns SportsID's organic social presence and day-to-day content production across every channel, building the audience and content engine that drives athlete and ambassador acquisition through the pilot program and into launch. Responsibilities Own and run the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube (@MySportsID). Produce platform-native content: short-form copy, template-based graphics (Canva), and short-form video/Reels edits. Maintain a consistent posting cadence and a unified brand voice aligned to approved messaging. Grow and engage the community — respond to comments and DMs and join relevant conversations. Support influencer and ambassador campaigns with content, briefs, and coordination. Track content performance and iterate; report weekly on reach, growth, and engagement. Support launch campaigns and the pilot-program acquisition push, including partner-code and UGC coordination. Required Native fluency across major social platforms and current content formats and trends. Strong short-form writing with the discipline to hold a brand voice. Working graphic-design skills (Canva or equivalent) and basic short-form video editing. Calendar and scheduling discipline; reliable, self-directed execution. Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to accelerate drafting and ideation. Genuine interest in sports, youth athletics, or the creator economy. Nice to have Prior social management for a brand, team, creator, or organization. Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools. Photography, videography, or motion-design ability. Background in youth sports as an athlete, coach, or parent. Success in the first 90 days A consistent, on-brand posting cadence live across priority channels.
