Randash Auto Center is looking for an experienced Lead Master Diagnostic Technician to become a key member of our Bozeman team.
This isn't just another technician position. We're looking for someone who can confidently diagnose the most challenging vehicle concerns, mentor fellow technicians, and help raise the technical standard of our shop.

Compensation & Benefits
- $35-$45 per hour, compensation based on experience, certifications, and diagnostic expertise.

Schedule
- Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Consistent 40-hour work week
What You'll Do
- Diagnose complex drivability and performance concerns
- Perform advanced electrical diagnostics including wiring, modules, CAN communication, sensors, and parasitic draw testing
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and drivetrain systems
- Perform major mechanical repairs and engine replacements
- Utilize scan tools, and ive data to accurately identify failures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow technicians
- Assist with difficult diagnostic cases and help develop shop efficiency
- Document findings and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
Please note: We do not service diesel vehicles.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of advanced automotive diagnostic experience
- Expert electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of scan tools, live data analysis, and diagnostic strategy
- ASE Master Certification preferred (additional certifications highly valued)
- Personal tool inventory
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to mentor and support other technicians
- High level of accountability and professionalism
