Dental Assistant (RDA or DA)

Primary Duties
● Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures including exams, restorative, root canals
and surgeries.
● Set up and organize operatories with sanitized tools and materials before each
appointment. Disinfect the rooms after each treatment.
● taking X-rays following all safety protocols
● Update and manage patient charts, medical backgrounds, and treatment notes accurately
● Uphold strict infection control standards, ensuring proper sterilization and waste disposal
● Offer patients guidance on oral hygiene and care after treatment
● Monitor and manage dental supplies; handle ordering and restocking
● Support front desk tasks and general administrative responsibilities when needed
Required Qualifications
● Experience temporary crowns, taking impressions. Digital scanner impression experience is a plus.
● Completion of a recognized dental assisting training program is preferred
● Must hold an active coronal polishing and xray license in CA.
● Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required
● for RDA, must hold active RDA license in CA
● Experience in a dental setting is an advantage, but recent graduates are encouraged to
apply
● Effective communication and teamwork skills
● Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a busy office
● Familiarity with Dentrix, Dexis
● Second language Spanish or Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
