Position Overview
The Chiropractic Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the provider team, guiding patients through care plans, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic flow. This role blends clinical support, patient engagement, and light administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Assist chiropractors with patient flow and treatment setup
- Escort patients to treatment areas and ensure comfort
- Prepare therapy modalities (e.g., e-stim, shockwave therapy, traction, hot/cold therapy)
- Provide instruction on prescribed exercises and rehab protocols
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment areas
Patient Experience
- Build strong rapport with patients and create a welcoming environment
- Educate patients on treatment plans and expectations
- Encourage compliance with care plans and follow-up visits
- Handle patient questions with professionalism and empathy
Operations & Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling and patient check-in/check-out as needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR
- Coordinate with front desk and providers to optimize clinic flow
- Support daily clinic operations and team communication
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical office preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
- Basic computer/EMR proficiency
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with personal injury patients
- Familiarity with rehab exercises or therapy modalities
- Background in fitness, kinesiology, or healthcare
