Overview
Join our team as a Drop Bury Technician and play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of underground fiber optic and telecommunication infrastructure. This energetic position demands a proactive approach to field service operations, utilizing heavy equipment and technical tools to ensure the seamless deployment of network infrastructure and telecommunication technology.
Duties
- Operate equipment including plows, trenchers, and power tools to excavate and bury fiber optic cables safely and efficiently.
- Install, splice, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables
- Conduct cable pulling, splicing, and testing for fiber optic and copper cabling in compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field service roles involving equipment operation and telecommunication installation.
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing
- Construction experience combined with electrical or telecommunication background is highly preferred.
- Strong technical troubleshooting support skills for network infrastructure.
Join us as a Drop Bury Technician, this is a 1099 contractor position. Must have reliable transportation.
Pay: $1,600.00 - $3,500.00 per week
