Job Description: New Little Rock Gastroenterology practice is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team in our new endoscopy center. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional and compassionate care to patients in the perioperative setting, including pre-op, circulator, and PACU nursing responsibilities. Job Duties
Perform perioperative duties as a registered nurse in assigned pt care area; pre-op, intra-opcirculator, or PACU.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, co-workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate, timely, and appropriate health records.
Perform within the scope of practice prescribed by licensure and certification.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Certifications and Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) State Licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) by Arkansas
Board of Nursing required.
Licensure must be current and active.
ACLS and PALS certification preferred or must be obtained prior to working
Employment is contingent upon successful criminal background screen and drug screen
upon offer.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience as a registered nurse required. Previous
experience in gastroenterology or ambulatory/outpatient surgery preferred.
