Dental Sterilization Technician
Pay: $22.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment by ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Prepare and organize instrument trays for clinical procedures.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and document sterilization cycles.
- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Keep the sterilization area clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards.
- Assist with operatory turnover and other clinical support duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous dental sterilization or dental office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
