Sun Ag is seeking dependable and safety-focused Truck Drivers to join our team. This position is responsible for transporting agricultural products from our facility to our application crews and customers throughout the local area. If you take pride in operating safely, delivering on time, and working as part of a team, we want to hear from you.
This is a local hauling position with home time every night.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport agricultural products to customer locations and application crews
- Operate a variety of equipment, including:
- Hopper trailers
- Tankers
- Dump trailers
- Ensure timely deliveries while following all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation
- Assist the application team in the field as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in good working condition
- Support daily operations and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A preferred)
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe operation
- Ability to operate or learn to operate hopper, tanker, and dump trailer equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Agricultural experience is preferred but not required
