Armed Security Officer (Part-Time)

About the Role:
We’re seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to help protect our property, personnel, and visitors. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and alert, with strong attention to detail. This position involves maintaining visibility, deterring unlawful activity, and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol interior and exterior areas of the property.
- Monitor surveillance systems and control access points.
- Respond to incidents and contact law enforcement when needed.
- Complete accurate, detailed incident and observation reports.
- Enforce company policies and maintain a safe environment.
- Remain professional, courteous, and dependable at all times.
Requirements:
- Current Maryland Armed Security Guard License (required)
- Maryland Handgun Carry Permit (required)
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Reliable personal transportation (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of prior security experience
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to perform foot patrols and work outdoors
Preferred:
- Prior military or law enforcement experience
