The overall purpose of the Administrative Assistant position for Crest Health Center is to provide clerical support services to the department in an efficient and safe manner.
General Responsibilities:
- Prepares and maintains the master schedule for all hourly Crest staff.
- Back up for payroll processing for Crest Health Center.
- Various clerical duties as assigned by nursing administration including medical records/scanning.
- Tracks attendance.
- Assist with scheduling resident physician appointments.
- Escorts residents on physician appointments as needed.
- Promotes a safe and clean environment.
- Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting.
- Assures that equipment is clean and functional.
- Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
- Assists with incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for the residents, visitors, and staff.
- Assist in dining rooms, taking residents to activities and the beauty shop.
- Demonstrates competency in skills mandated by required education and training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
