To support our team and operational excellence, we are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our afternoon shift team as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician.
The position is responsible for performing laboratory testing, supporting product quality, and ensuring compliance with company and ISO standards. This role maintains accurate documentation, supports batch approvals, and assists in investigating nonconformances. The position also contributes to laboratory safety, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives, while collaborating cross-functionally to support operational and customer quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures
- Review and approve batches to ensure compliance with product specifications
- Maintain accurate records and support quality documentation requirements
- Identify, escalate, and assist in investigating nonconformances
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and standardized solutions
- Support ISO standards, audits, and quality system requirements
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Chemical Technologist Diploma (2-year program)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with wet chemical analysis methods
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation (e.g., Karl Fischer titration, rheological testing)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
- Experience using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., ovens, viscometers, hot plates)

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
