As our Insurance Verifier, you will play a critical role in this mission. You will ensure patients have insurance coverage for their desired therapy, preventing any surprises when it comes to their bills, so they can focus entirely on their recovery.

In this role, you will report directly to our Billing Manager and ensure precise administrative workflows. Your primary duties will include:

Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage via phone or website prior to their evaluation or within 24 hours of receiving the required information.

Pre-Authorizations: File pre-authorizations via phone, fax, email, or website within 24 hours of receiving the required information.

Cap Waivers & Visit Extensions: File cap waivers or requests for additional visits via phone, fax, email, or website.

Team & Patient Communication: Promptly communicate completed verifications to Patient Advocates and front desk staff so patients can be scheduled. Ensure all communications are routed to the correct department/individual.

Documentation Management: Maintain an accurate log/tracker sheet of verified patients. Scan, verify, and file correct documentation (such as scripts and plans of care) needed for pre-authorizations.

Task Management: Check and prioritize tasks at least twice a day, handling high-priority tasks within 24 hours, medium-priority within 3 days, and low-priority within the same week.

Workspace Maintenance: Keep your desk neat, organized, and prepared for daily usage.
