As a Fleet Agent, your primary responsibility is transporting and positioning vehicles where they are needed to support daily operations. You will also assist with preparing vehicles for rental by completing inspections, fueling, cleaning, and ensuring each vehicle meets company standards. You are expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safe driving practices and supporting overall fleet operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Vehicle Movement (Primary Responsibility)
- Transport vehicles between airport locations, rental branches, service facilities, body shops, fueling stations, and other designated locations.
- Stage vehicles according to reservation demand and operational priorities.
- Deliver and retrieve vehicles as directed by management.
- Assist with vehicle swaps, exchanges, and rescues.
- Maintain an organized parking lot and maximize fleet accessibility.
- Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas and ready for immediate use.
- Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and company policies.
Fleet Support
- Assist Service Supervisors with maintaining fleet readiness.
- Support peak operational periods by preparing and staging vehicles quickly.
- Complete required vehicle movement logs and inspection reports.
- Communicate vehicle status accurately using company-approved systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Vehicle Preparation
- Prepare vehicles for rental by cleaning interiors and exteriors.
- Fuel vehicles to company standards.
- Complete pre-rental inspections for cleanliness, damage, fuel level, and required equipment.
- Verify registration, insurance cards, keys, and accessories are present.
- Report any damage, warning lights, or mechanical concerns immediately.
- Perform basic vehicle care, including checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
Safety and Compliance
- Drive safely and responsibly at all times.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Wear the required company uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate various vehicle types.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Must be at least 18 years or older.
Must have a valid Guam Driver's License.
Must have at least 2 years driving experience.
