As a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Helper, you'll split your time between preparing furniture in our warehouse and assisting with deliveries to customers' homes. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in ensuring every customer has an outstanding experience.
What You'll Do Warehouse Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming furniture shipments.
- Inspect merchandise for damage and verify accuracy.
- Assemble furniture according to company standards.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery and pickup.
- Load and secure furniture safely onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist with inventory organization and stock movement.
Delivery Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with furniture deliveries.
- Carefully move furniture into customers' homes without causing damage.
- Assemble furniture when required.
- Remove and dispose of packaging materials.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Complete deliveries efficiently while following company procedures.
- Report any delivery concerns or damages immediately.
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move furniture (100+ lbs. with team assistance).
- Comfortable working in both warehouse and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Attention to detail and care when handling merchandise.
- Furniture delivery or warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry heavy furniture.
- Stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs throughout the day.
- Work in varying weather conditions during deliveries.
- Ability to safely use moving equipment such as dollies and hand trucks.
