Responsibilities
- Perform climbing and bucket truck operations safely to access towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures for installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Conduct fiber splicing and cabling tasks with precision to ensure optimal network performance.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair 4G/LTE, 3G, and 5G wireless equipment across various sites.
- Execute high-voltage work with strict adherence to safety protocols to maintain system integrity.
- Rigging and welding tasks required for tower assembly or modification projects.
- Support field service activities by diagnosing issues, replacing components, and documenting work performed.
- Use bucket operation techniques for safe handling of tools and equipment at height while adhering to all safety standards.
- Assist with low voltage wiring, grounding, and cable management to ensure reliable network connections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in telecommunication field service or tower work with a focus on climbing and bucket truck operation.
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, fiber splicing, cabling, and low voltage wiring.
- Familiarity with 4G/LTE, 3G, and 5G network deployment processes.
- Skilled in welding, rigging, and working safely at heights using proper climbing techniques.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and other specialized equipment such as cranes or lifts safely.
- Experience with telecommunication infrastructure installation including cabling and grounding procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during troubleshooting or maintenance tasks.
