About Rancho Crescendo Music
Rancho Crescendo Music is a new community music academy opening in Rancho Cordova, California. Our mission is to provide high-quality music education in a positive, supportive, encouraging, and family-friendly environment.
We're currently building our founding team of instructors and are looking for a passionate Piano Instructor who is excited to inspire students, build strong musical foundations, and foster a lifelong love of music.
Responsibilities
- Teach both private and group piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Create a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment.
- Adapt instruction to meet each student's individual learning style and goals.
- Monitor student progress and help students develop confidence and strong musical foundations.
- Prepare students for recitals and other studio events.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and studio staff.
- Participate in studio recitals, performances, and other community events as needed.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about music education and helping students succeed.
- Proficient in piano performance and instruction.
- Reliable, professional, and organized.
- Patient, positive, and encouraging.
- Comfortable teaching children, teens, and adults.
- Comfortable working with students of diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with ADHD, autism, and other developmental or learning differences.
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with students, families, and fellow instructors.
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Music, Music Education, Piano Performance, or a related field preferred. Candidates without a degree but with exceptional professional teaching or performance experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous piano teaching experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Schedule
Teaching schedules are built around student enrollment, instructor availability, and demand.
Typical teaching hours include:
- Weekday afternoons and evenings
- Saturdays
- Sundays
Our goal is to build efficient teaching schedules that minimize unnecessary gaps between lessons whenever possible.
