Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Repair and replace critical parts using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before returning to customers.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various makes and models.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, repair, and Auto estimating processes.
- Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous.
- Ability to perform suspension work, brake repairs, oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts replacements confidently.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
