1st shift M-F 6:00-2:30
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate automatic, multi-spindle production lathes.
- Read and understand part prints, dimensional specifications and tolerances.
- Properly use micrometers, calipers and similar measuring tools.
- Maintain machine tooling and adjust machines as required to insure part quality requirements.
- Maintain required set-up, production and quality documentation.
- Material Handling – lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain orderly work area.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Work Experience * Minimum of 3 years setting up/operating metal working machines.
- Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division using whole number, common fractions and decimals.
- Work from part prints or shop drawings. Able to use micrometers, calipers, depth mics, indicators and optical comparator.
- Must have tools and perform well with little supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Meet background and drug testing requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
