Civil Project Manager - W/WW
Summary
Looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead water/wastewater efforts across the region. This is a seller/doer role, someone who can build relationships with municipal clients, keep projects moving, and grow their own team while working alongside existing staff.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the firm's water/wastewater practice efforts across the region
- Act as a seller/doer, building relationships with municipal clients and moving projects forward
- Manage projects spanning treatment facility planning and design, water distribution lines, and booster pump station design
- Oversee sanitary sewer system planning and design, asset management planning, and regional water planning
- Handle water system mapping, management plans, and a variety of permitting
- Work with existing staff and build out your own team
- Lead by example and represent the practice professionally with clients and the community
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater plant design
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering projects and/or personnel
- Strong understanding of water/wastewater principles and municipal client relationships
- Excellent communicator, professionally respected leader
- Comfortable operating as a seller/doer, developing new business alongside a team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- PE license required
- Valid driver's license required
Compensation and benefits
- $100K–$125K base, plus performance bonuses
