Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and pulmonary procedures.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care.
- Document patient care accurately using ProVation.
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina RN License.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
- Endoscopy experience required.
- Knowledge of ProVation required.
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications.
- ADN/ASN required; BSN preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday & Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM; any combination of Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (36 hours/week).
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2.
- Anesthesia support provided for procedural sedation.
- Opportunity to work in a collaborative hospital-based endoscopy team with both inpatient and outpatient patients.
Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,150.00 per week
