Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent with 3-5 years of insurance sales experience who is passionate about helping clients protect what matters most. The ideal candidate is a strong closer, relationship builder, and team player who is fluent in both English and Spanish.
This position requires in-office attendance Monday through Friday during training and probation. Following successful completion of the probationary period and a satisfactory performance evaluation, the position may transition to a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through inbound and outbound sales activities
- Quote, sell, and service Personal Lines insurance products, including Auto, Home, Renters, and Umbrella policies
- Cross-sell and identify opportunities to expand client coverage
- Follow up on internet leads, referrals, and agency-generated opportunities
- Review policies and provide coverage recommendations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and coverage questions
- Maintain accurate client records within agency management systems
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and retention goals
- Collaborate with team members to provide an outstanding client experience
QualificationsRequired:
- Active Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License
- 3-5 years of insurance sales experience
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience quoting and servicing Personal Lines insurance
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with CRM and agency management systems
Preferred:
- Experience working in an independent insurance agency
- Experience with EZLynx or similar agency management platforms
- Multi-state licensing
- Existing book of business or referral network
